Description and Requirements

The Talent Acquisition Specialist is responsible for sourcing, attracting, and interviewing prospective employees to find the perfect match for a company's long-term goals. This is a contract opportunity. This role involves developing strategies for acquiring new talent, managing the recruitment process, and building relationships with candidates and hiring managers. This person must be located close to Whitsett, North Carolina.

Key Responsibilities:

  • Coordinate with hiring managers to identify staffing needs.
  • Develop selection criteria and job descriptions.
  • Source potential candidates through various channels (e.g., social media, professional networks).
  • Plan and conduct interviews and selection procedures, including screening calls, assessments, and in-person interviews.
  • Assess candidate information using Applicant Tracking Systems (ATS).
  • Lead employer branding initiatives to attract top talent.
  • Organize and attend job fairs and recruitment events.
  • Forecast hiring needs and develop talent pipelines.
  • Build long-term relationships with past applicants and potential candidates
Basic Qualifications:
  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or a related field
  • Experience in an HR or talent acquisition role (past internships, projects, or volunteer work)
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite
  • General understanding of human resources disciplines, local laws, and compliance requirements
Preferred Qualifications:
  • Excellent communication, interpersonal, and organizational skills.
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.
  • Creative thinker with a passion for connecting people and opportunities.
