Senior Hybrid Cloud Consultant

Role Overview

Lenovo Professional Services North America is seeking a Senior Hybrid Cloud Consultant to deliver client-focused cloud and infrastructure services across Microsoft Azure Local / Azure Stack HCI and related virtualization, storage, and networking platforms, as well as public cloud environments including Azure, AWS, and GCP.
In this role, you will act as both a hands-on Senior Hybrid Cloud Consultant and a trusted advisor, guiding clients through the design, deployment, and optimization of Lenovo's hybrid and multi-cloud solutions. You will lead service delivery engagements that emphasize business outcomes, operational efficiency, and long-term client success.

Key Responsibilities

  • Public Cloud Architecture: Utilize your expertise and creativity to design and develop high-quality, secure, and scalable Azure, AWS or GCP Cloud infrastructure solutions that align with the organization's business requirements and reflect our commitment to diversity and inclusion.

  • Technical Leadership: As a key figure in our team, you will serve as a supportive and empowering leader, fostering an inclusive environment where all team members feel valued and respected. Your mentorship will enable individuals to thrive and grow both personally and professionally.

  • Solution Planning: Collaborate with a diverse range of teams and stakeholders to gather requirements and perspectives, identify technical challenges, and create comprehensive cloud solution architectures and strategies that resonate with our diverse customer base.

  • Implementation and Deployment: Lead the implementation and deployment of Azure, AWS or GCP infrastructure solutions, ensuring that the process is inclusive and accommodating to the needs of all team members.

  • Migration Service: Assess the customer existing infra, prepare migration design, schedules, perform migration service, transfer knowledge to the team for volume migrations

  • Performance Optimization: Continuously monitor and optimize the performance, reliability, and cost-efficiency of cloud services with a focus on diversity and inclusion, ensuring that our solutions meet the needs of all users.

  • Security and Compliance: Advocate for strong security measures that protect the privacy and data of all users, making sure that our cloud solutions are compliant with diverse global regulations and standards.

  • Disaster Recovery and Business Continuity: Collaborate on creating effective disaster recovery and business continuity plans that prioritize inclusivity and accessibility for all team members.

  • Technical Documentation: Create and maintain comprehensive technical documentation, utilizing clear and inclusive language, architecture diagrams, deployment guides, and standard operating procedures.

  • Collaboration: Foster a collaborative and inclusive work environment, ensuring that the diverse perspectives and expertise of all team members are heard and valued during the integration of Azure , AWS or GCP infrastructure services.

  • Research and Innovation: Stay up-to-date with the latest Public Cloud and Hybrid Cloud technologies and industry trends, and actively seek opportunities to enhance existing processes and technologies to better serve our diverse customer base.

  • Understand customers' overall cloud portfolio, IT and business priorities, and success measures to design implementation architectures and scalable cloud solutions leveraging expertise in cloud infrastructure solutions (Windows and Linux IaaS, SAP, VMware, Security, Management, Storage, Networking, OSS, containers and Infra as a code technologies).

Basic Requirements:
  • Experience: 8-10 Years of Experience in Public & Hybrid Cloud Assessment, design and deployment and support.

  • Degree BE/B.Tech/MCA in IT/Computer Science/ Electronics & Communication/Electronics or higher.

  • Training & Certifications: Azure, AWS or GCP certifications

Preferred Qualifications:
  • Successful experience in consultative/complex technical discussions, architecture, design, implementation, and/or support of Cloud and/or hybrid computing environments

  • Expert in Public Cloud (Azure/AWS/GCP) System Integration (SI) services discovery, assessment, Planning, Design, Setup, Configure, and Migration Services with Cloud solutions such as Iaas, PaaS, Landing Zone, Networking, Well Architect Framework, Zero trust model, IaC, and other Public Cloud services, Azure AD, Data center integration services etc.

  • Proven track record of building technical relationships with IT executives . Experience in managing stakeholder relationships to get consensus on solution/projects.

  • Familiarity with DevOps practices and tools (e.g., Azure DevOps, Git, CI/CD pipelines).

  • Familiarity with Infrastructure as Code (IaC) concepts and tools (e.g., Terraform, ARM templates).

  • Experience in containerization technologies such as Docker and Kubernetes.

  • Understanding of hybrid cloud scenarios and connectivity between on-premises and cloud environments.

  • Troubleshooting and Support: Provide inclusive and accommodating technical support and troubleshooting expertise to resolve complex issues related to Azure, AWS or GCP infrastructure services.
