About Vasion

For more than a decade, Vasion has been helping companies simplify their print infrastructure, automate business processes, and integrate their technology in a more secure environment. Our mission, to make digital transformation attainable for everyone, drives a culture of innovation and exploration. We have one simple goal: help organizations simplify processes through automation and integration.

So we created simple, cost-effective, and easy-to-implement digital tools that work together, removing bottlenecks and improving efficiency. And we're always on the lookout for new people who can help us innovate, grow, and reach our goal.

About the role

As an Associate Professional Services Engineer, you will deliver customer implementations on tightly scoped engagements with standardized deployments and well-defined implementation plans. Working within Vasion's standard reference architecture, you will configure Vasion solutions and common integrations, troubleshoot straightforward deployment issues, and validate solutions before customer handoff.

You will work with customers to understand requirements, deliver assigned work within the agreed scope, and escalate deviations or out-of-scope requests to the project lead. With guidance from experienced team members, you will build expertise across the Vasion platform while learning customer environments and contributing to successful post-sales engagements.

What you'll do
  • Install and configure standard Vasion deployments, including service clients, printer and driver management, identity connections, and common integrations.
  • Configure solutions against defined implementation plans and Vasion's standard reference architecture, escalating deviations rather than designing around them.
  • Configure and validate standard integrations with customer systems, including identity providers, directory services, VDI, and endpoint management, with guidance.
  • Diagnose and resolve deployment issues, documenting findings and resolutions and escalating product issues when appropriate.
  • Work with customers to understand requirements, recommend options for straightforward issues, and deliver work within the agreed statement of work.
  • Deliver assigned post-sales work to the agreed plan, learning customer environments and goals and coordinating day-to-day activities with partners under direction.
  • Communicate product behavior clearly to customer administrators and identify when Support, Engineering, or other expertise is needed.
  • Identify out-of-scope requests, plan deviations, and potential expansion opportunities and raise them to the appropriate project or account team.
  • Support customer training using standard materials, accurately track project time, and maintain current Vasion platform knowledge through ongoing training.
Qualifications
  • Foundational hands-on experience in system administration, cloud services, enterprise software implementation, infrastructure support, or a related technical field.
  • Foundational knowledge of networking, Windows Server, web technologies, and IIS configuration and troubleshooting

  • Experience or familiarity with on-premises and SaaS environments and common desktop and server operating systems
  • Strong troubleshooting and analytical skills with the ability to clearly document findings and resolutions
  • Ability to communicate technical concepts clearly to customer IT administrators and recognize when additional technical expertise is needed
