Overview

Alliance Cancer Specialists is seeking a compassionate, detail-oriented, and customer-focused Pre-Services Coordinator to join our team in our Admin.Office located in Trevose, PA. In this important role, you will be the first point of contact for many patients, helping them navigate the scheduling and registration process with professionalism, empathy, and efficiency.

What You'll Do
  • Answer incoming calls and assess patient scheduling needs.
  • Schedule new patient appointments with the appropriate provider.
  • Provide patients with appointment details, directions, and pre-visit instructions.
  • Obtain and enter patient demographic and insurance information accurately.
  • Verify insurance eligibility, benefits, co-pays, and authorization requirements.
  • Coordinate with clinical staff and triage nurses to accommodate scheduling requests.
  • Follow up with patients regarding missing insurance information, medical records, and test results.
  • Maintain accurate scheduling records and call logs.
  • Ensure compliance with HIPAA and patient confidentiality requirements.
  • Deliver exceptional customer service to patients, families, providers, and staff.
What We're Looking For :

Required Qualifications

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • Minimum of three (3) years of medical scheduling, patient registration, or medical receptionist experience.
  • Experience working with insurance verification and medical scheduling systems.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, including Outlook, Word, and Excel.
  • Strong communication, organizational, and multitasking skills.

Preferred Qualifications

  • Associate degree in Business, Finance, Healthcare Administration, or a related field.
  • Revenue cycle experience.
  • Knowledge of oncology practice operations and provider scheduling.
