Position / Job Summary The Development Team is the engine of the Foundation, actively engaging with prospective and current donors to propel forward the strategic vision of DC. The Manager, Database Operations & Technology will serve as a key resource to the Development Team and the Director, Donor Services in ensuring high-quality execution of all internal team functions of the Development Team, as outlined in detail in the description below. The Manager, Database Operations & Technology will report to the Director, Donor Services. Like all DCF employees, this individual is a keeper of the DCF culture of philanthropy. Essential Duties & Responsibilities
- Serve as the Foundation database expert for the Raiser's Edge donor database, ensuring accurate and consistent information management and process improvement including workflows, automations, and integrations
- Create and maintain detailed database, SOPs of internal business processes and workflows related to the database and other support applications, ensure adherence to business rules and procedures relevant to donor cultivation, stewardship and fundraising activities including training curriculum for new and existing Raiser's Edge users
- Support the data needs of the Foundation and various campus units, by preparing lists, generating ad-hoc and standard analytical, statistical and financial reports to accurately, clearly, and effectively present desired data in dashboards and reports to help tell the data story for fundraising objectives
- Train users on the functionality, standards, and proper use of technology stack and IT Infrastructure (including responsible AI) to ensure that team members use database and other assets responsibly, in accordance with their security levels, as well as leading team training and dispersing appropriate learning materials
- Create and implement moves management tracking and reporting across multiple platforms, with focus on Raiser's Edge by keeping up to date with industry standards and best practices in addition to routinely conducting technology audits to determine best ROI. This includes making suggestions for improvements to annual giving and major gift data strategies leading to increased productivity and greater chances of surpassing fundraising objectives
- As the leading expert, stay abreast of innovation and techniques in database administration, specifically Raiser's Edge, and other Blackbaud solutions (ResearchPoint, PaperSave, data enrichment, AwardManagement, MailChimp, FundMiner, and others)
- Completes required Dallas College Professional Development training hours per academic year
- Required Dallas College Professional Development Hours per Academic Year. (MUST BE INCLUDED)
- All employees are required to complete a minimum of 19 hours.
- People leaders are required an additional 16 hours of leadership development.

Minimum and Preferred - Education, Experience, and/or Certifications Required Qualifications for Role (necessary or mandatory)
