Position Summary:
We have an exciting opportunity to join our team as a Project Coordinator (Supply Chain Management Transformation).
In this role, the successful candidate The Project Coordinator will be a key member of the Supply Chain Management Transformation team. Reporting to a Senior Project Manager, the Project Coordinator supports the organization, coordination, and implementation of department-wide projects.The ideal candidate brings strong analytical and organizational skills, an interest in project management and supply chain operations, and a willingness to learn the healthcare environment. This role offers hands-on exposure to enterprise projects and the opportunity to contribute to strategic supply chain improvements.
Job Responsibilities:
Maintain project documentation, including plans, meeting minutes, action item logs, and status reports.
Track deliverables and timelines, following up with owners to keep work moving toward completion.
Schedule and coordinate project meetings, prepare agendas, and capture and distribute notes and next steps.
Collect, organize, and analyze data to support project reporting and performance tracking.
Track key supply chain performance metrics and help identify improvement opportunities.
Prepare presentations, reports, and other materials for project and leadership meetings.
Support process improvement efforts by documenting current-state workflows and helping map future-state processes.
Assist with testing, rollout, and documentation for new tools and system enhancements.
Support training and user adoption activities, including preparing materials and assisting end users.
Facilitate coordination between Supply Chain, IT, Finance, and other partners.
Communicate project updates clearly and build strong working relationships across the organization.

Additional Position Specific Responsibilities:
Visit medical centers, supply rooms, and vendor facilities as needed to support project work and understand end-user needs.
Adapt to shifting priorities in a fast-paced environment.
Develop cooperative relationships across the organization to complete cross-functional work team activities.
Provide coverage and support for other Transformation team initiatives as needed.
Participate in special projects and perform other duties as assigned.
Minimum Qualifications:
To qualify you must have a Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, healthcare administration, healthcare policy, business, or a related field.
Strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
Strong written and verbal communication skills.
Proficiency in Microsoft Office, including Excel and PowerPoint.
Familiarity with basic project management tools and methodologies.
Preferred Qualifications:
0-2 years of experience in project coordination, process improvement, operations, or implementation projects.
Experience or coursework in healthcare, an integrated delivery network (IDN), or another large enterprise environment.
Exposure to supply chain systems such as PeopleSoft, GHX, or other ERP platforms.
CAPM, Lean, Six Sigma, or Change Management certification.
Experience preparing reports, dashboards, or presentations for leadership.
Bachelor's degree in supply chain management, healthcare administration, business, or a similar field required.
Certified Associate in Project Management (CAPM)
Lean or Six Sigma (Yellow Belt or Green Belt)
Prosci / Change Management certification
Certified in Planning and Inventory Management (CPIM)

NYU Langone Health provides a salary range to comply with the New York state Law on Salary Transparency in Job Advertisements. The salary range for the role is $70,481.60 - $71,400.00 Annually. Actual salaries depend on a variety of factors, including experience, specialty, education, and hospital need. The salary range or contractual rate listed does not include bonuses/incentive, differential pay or other forms of compensation or benefits.
