As aSenior Security Researcher in Microsoft Security's FORGE Lab (Frontier Offensive Research & Generative Exploitation), you will help shape the future of autonomous security engineering by combining offensive security research with frontier AI capabilities.The team builds systems such as MDASH, a multi-model agentic vulnerability discovery platform that autonomously identifies, validates, and proves exploitable vulnerabilities in software. Our work spans vulnerability research, automated exploit generation, AI-driven security workflows, and large-scale software ecosystem protection, helping Microsoft and its customers discover and remediate security risks faster than ever before. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $160,200 - $261,000 per year. Certain roles may be eligible for benefits and other compensation. Find additional benefits and pay information here: Security Research IC5 - The typical base pay range for this role across the U.S. is USD $142,800 - $274,800 per year. There is a different range applicable to specific work locations, within the San Francisco Bay area and New York City metropolitan area, and the base pay range for this role in those locations is USD $188,000 - $304,200 per year.
