Schedule: Monday-Friday; 7:00 am - 3:30 pm

Job Duties

• Perform corrosion repair, minor bodywork, and painting.
• Includes all tasks associated with washing, surface preparation, masking, and application of various coatings and corrosion prevention compounds
• Maintain records by recording service and repairs
• Maintain equipment by following operating instructions
• Troubleshoot and maintain supplies
• Perform preventive maintenance and report to the Team Lead on needed repairs

Education Requirements

• High school diploma or GED preferred unless otherwise specified.
• Additional education, certifications, or vocational training may be beneficial depending on the position.

Experience Requirements

• Ability to follow written and verbal instructions accurately.
• Strong communication, organizational, and problem-solving skills.
• Ability to work independently as well as part of a team.
• Commitment to quality, safety, professionalism, and dependable attendance.
• Ability to learn new processes, procedures, equipment, or software as required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Previous experience in a related industry or similar position is preferred.
• Experience working in fast-paced, customer-focused, manufacturing, warehouse, administrative, or professional environments is beneficial depending on the assignment.
• Relevant certifications, technical training, or specialized skills are considered an asset.
• Individuals who demonstrate adaptability, professionalism, strong work ethic, and a willingness to learn are well positioned for success as a Vehicle Painter.
• Automotive painting, body shop, industrial coating, or surface-preparation experience is preferred.
• Experience in Corrosion Control programs and procedures is preferred, but not required

Physical Capabilities

• Physically capable of bending, kneeling, standing for extended periods, and working on and around large vehicles.
• Respiratory protection will be required for certain operations.
• The required medical evaluation can be completed online. Must be able to pass a DOT medical exam
• Must be able to pass an OSHA respirator medical evaluation
• Must possess a valid driver's license
