Lincoln, NE andCrete, Seward, Beatrice
Schedule/Shift: Monday through Friday; early mornings and occasional weekends as required
Pay:$20.00 - $21.00 per hour

Job Summary

The Merchandiser is responsible for maintaining merchandising standards, product availability, and presentation across assigned customer accounts. This role provides customer service, supports sales activities, rotates and stocks products, maintains displays and equipment, and monitors competitor activity. The position requires strong organization, communication, customer service, and attention to detail while working independently across a designated route.

Job Responsibilities



  • Provide customer service, merchandising, and sales support across assigned accounts.
  • Rotate products from back stock to shelves, displays, and cold storage locations.
  • Sell in and maintain permanent and temporary displays as appropriate.
  • Assist Account Sales Managers with display setup and merchandising activities.
  • Cover assigned sales routes when needed, including performing Account Sales Manager duties on an occasional basis.
  • Review product code dates and remove expired or out-of-code products.
  • Remove dented, dirty, damaged, or otherwise unacceptable products from shelves, displays, and cold storage.
  • Notify the appropriate account representative regarding damaged products, product exchanges, and out-of-stock items.
  • Maintain product placement according to established shelf schematics.
  • Ensure racks, cold equipment, and point-of-sale materials are clean, current, and professionally presented.
  • Monitor competitor activities, including new product launches and pricing changes, and communicate relevant information to management.
  • Build and maintain professional relationships with customers to support sales and merchandising opportunities.
  • Participate in daily, weekly, and monthly sales meetings.
  • Maintain a professional representation of assigned brands and products.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.


Job Requirements



  • Prior experience in merchandising, sales, customer service, or a related field is preferred.
  • Beverage industry or product knowledge is preferred.
  • High school diploma or GED required.
  • Current driver's license with a clean driving record.
  • Reliable vehicle available for work purposes with required insurance coverage.
  • Current DOT medical card required.
  • Must be at least 21 years old.
  • Ability to work early mornings and occasional weekends.
  • Strong communication and customer service skills.
  • Good mathematical and organizational skills.
  • Ability to work independently and manage an assigned route effectively.
  • Ability to work outdoors and in varying weather conditions.
  • Ability to occasionally work around moving mechanical equipment.
  • Ability to maintain a professional and safe work environment.


Education



  • High school diploma or GED required.
