Who are we?
Founded in 1999, Progressive Community Health Centers is an independent non-profit organization that operates four clinic locations in Milwaukee, Wisconsin. More than 100 employees support our agency's mission to improve the health and quality of life of the community by providing culturally competent services that address identified needs. We provide high quality, comprehensive care to roughly 16,000 patients annually, a majority of who are low-income. No one is ever turned away from our clinics based on insurance status or ability to pay. We value a patient-centered philosophy and provide range of services that include family medicine, internal medicine, women's health, urgent care, dental, radiology and integrated behavioral health. We also offer supportive services such as case management, health education and benefits enrollment.
What will you do?
Provides administrative and office support to facilitate the efficient operation of the department and organization. Responsibilities include coordinating administrative activities, supporting projects, managing office resources, and maintaining effective communication with internal and external stakeholders. CORE RESPONSIBILITIES
- Manage priorities, coordinate projects, and ensure timely and accurate completion of administrative tasks.
- Communicate clearly and professionally in both written and verbal formats, tailor messaging appropriately for different audiences.
- Maintain strict confidentiality and handle sensitive information with discretion and sound judgment.
- Provide prompt, professional support to internal and external stakeholders; manage challenging situations with tact and professionalism.
- Demonstrate strong organizational skills, attention to detail, and the ability to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

- Support departmental and organizational initiatives through administrative coordination and project assistance.
- Open, sort, and distribute incoming correspondence and mail.
- Maintain office supply inventory, including stocking and ordering supplies as needed.
- Coordinate maintenance of office equipment such as mail machines, laminators, coffee machines, and other office equipment.
- Perform other job-related duties as assigned.

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE:
- Associate's degree or higher in Business Administration or a related field preferred
- Minimum of three (3) years of administrative experience
- Equivalent combinations of education and experience will be considered
- Experience supporting multiple leaders or complex projects strongly preferred
