APPOINTMENT DETAILS This position is a non-renewable, one-semester appointment. The instructor will be responsible for coordinating the experiential component of the class, a weekly learning circle inside a prison. The instructor will need to arrange for the transportation of students to the prison and the coordination and oversight of students while at the prison. QUALIFICATIONS EDUCATION Required: A master's degree in a relevant subject. EXPERIENCE Required: Prior experience in facilitating the Philosophy and Literature Circle with undergraduate students at a Texas prison or jail.
