The Senior Loan Representative is an experienced sales and lending professional responsible for supporting consumer loan production, strengthening customer and referral relationships, and serving as a knowledgeable resource within the Loan Center. This role originates, evaluates, and services new consumer loans, including Home Equity, Auto, Personal, and Credit Card products, through business development, consultative customer engagement, community involvement, and effective pipeline management. The Senior Loan Representative is expected to demonstrate strong product knowledge, sound credit and compliance judgment, ownership of assigned goals, and the ability to support team effectiveness through collaboration, peer support, and leadership by example. This position is 100% in person.

Education and Experience Requirements:
* High School Diploma/GED required. Bachelor's degree preferred.
* Three (3) years of experience in banking, lending, financial services, customer relationship management, or a related field, including responsibilities such as consumer loan origination, loan underwriting, processing, business development, referral generation, or relationship management.
* Must be available until 6pm on some weekdays and on some Saturdays.
*Must possess a valid driver's license, access to a reliable vehicle, and valid insurance.
*Candidates being considered will be subject to additional background checks as required by the office of the Comptroller of Currency.

Knowledge, Skill, and Ability Requirements:
* Strong ability to build, retain, and expand consumer loan relationships while working toward established production, referral, pipeline, and service goals.
* Working knowledge of consumer loan origination, documentation review, underwriting support, closing requirements, pricing considerations, and applicable regulatory standards.
* Excellent written, verbal, and presentation skills, with the ability to communicate complex loan information clearly to customers, referral partners, and internal stakeholders.
* Strong attention to detail and independent judgment to ensure accurate data entry, complete documentation, compliant loan processing, and accurate loan calculations.
* Ability to manage an active loan pipeline, prioritize competing deadlines, help resolve customer or documentation issues, and maintain consistent follow-through with appropriate guidance as needed.
* Proficient in Microsoft Office products including, but not limited to Word, Excel, Outlook and Teams.

Essential Functions:
* Meet or exceed established individual production goals for consumer loan volume, referral activity, pipeline management, customer follow-up, and related sales objectives.
* Deliver a high-quality customer experience to internal and external customers by providing consultative guidance, timely follow-up, issue resolution, and professional service that supports positive client feedback, customer retention, and repeat business.
* Achieve goals by applying relationship-building, referral-development, customer-retention, and cross-selling techniques consistent with the Bank's Mission, Values, and Core Objectives.
* Support proactive business development efforts to generate new loan production, deepen customer relationships, and expand associated products and services, including:
o Utilization of effective outbound calling efforts.
o Calling on businesses in the market area.
o Generating new Vendors via utilization of the Preferred Referral Program within immediate market as well as maintaining existing vendor relationships through follow-up with these vendors.
o Participate in networking, community, trade shows, and Chamber of Commerce events, including before- and after-hours activities.
o Handling online CHAT inquiries.
* Follow and help reinforce operational processes and procedures within the assigned Loan Center to support consistent, accurate, and compliant practices across the team.
* Maintain working knowledge of applicable Federal and State banking regulations and assist peers with compliant loan origination, documentation, disclosures, and customer communication practices as appropriate.

Supervisory Responsibilities:
* Assist management by sharing best practices, supporting onboarding or peer training, reinforcing compliant sales and service behaviors, and contributing to activities that support individual and team loan production goals.
