Summary: The Sr. Director, Lessor Business Development will be responsible for securing lessor acceptance for Chromalloy's DER/PMA product offerings and driving market penetration. This role will work in conjunction with the global Business Development teams to achieve these objectives. The role requires a strategic leader with deep expertise across multiple segments, including commercial, cargo, and engine operations, and a proven track record in business development. The ideal candidate will have significant experience working with airlines, lessors, major engine lessors, and engine MROs to drive growth and operational excellence. They will also demonstrate strong leadership in managing customer relationships, leading cross-functional teams, and fostering innovation that leads to tailored customer solutions.

Key Objectives:

• Develop and execute a trading strategy across existing and new accounts and develop new business and markets to meet or exceed sales and growth objectives. This strategy should include the sourcing, acquisition, and sale of both serviceable and unserviceable engines or modules.
• Own each transaction end to end, from RFP response through negotiation, oversight, and closing of every engine transaction in line with the approved business case. Quarterback assigned transactions to closure by constantly engaging the counterparty and the CMS product, records, and legal teams.
• Develop and implement strategic plans that advance the company's mission and objectives.
• Lead initiatives to expand the company's market penetration. Collaborate with lessors, engine MRO facilities, and major engine lessors to secure key contracts, optimize engine performance, and innovate engine-related solutions.
• Drive the acceptance and adoption of alternative parts by effectively communicating the value proposition and overcoming technical, legal, and market-entry barriers posed by incumbent OEMs and engine asset owners.
• Identify and pursue new business opportunities, partnerships, and markets to expand the company's footprint.
• Cultivate and maintain strong relationships with customers, industry partners, and internal teams.
• Provide proactive and strategic leadership to align internal teams and external stakeholders, foster collaboration, and ensure seamless execution of business initiatives. Demonstrate a high level of personal commitment to planning and stakeholder management.
• Collaborate with the Business Development teams and the Parts business to ensure a robust pipeline of new solutions for the market.
• Be the external face of Chromalloy through panel engagements and visibility at industry events, and serve as the first line of escalation for all customer interactions.

Primary Accountabilities:

• Obtain lessor acceptance for Chromalloy's DER/PMA product offerings and achieve market penetration.
• Serve as an integral member of Chromalloy's extended team providing insight and expertise on company-wide strategy, operations, and key customer issues.
• Represent Chromalloy to the external marketplace, particularly with strategic customers and industry groups where Chromalloy's value proposition is key to establishing or growing those relationships.
• Represent the Alternative Parts Programs internally to senior leadership, which may include the company's Board of Directors, as needed and requested.

Minimum Requirements:

Education: Undergraduate degree, MBA strongly preferred

Experience: 15+ years of progressive experience, including at least 6 years in a similar operating environment/scope.

Skills / Requirements:

• In-depth knowledge of aerospace industry regulations, cargo operations, engine technologies, and leasing standards.
• Strong knowledge of all engine OEM platforms, their derivatives, and their applications.
• Deep understanding of industry trends in the acceptance of third-party aftermarket solutions and services.
• Established relationships with lessors, engine lessors, and engine MROs, with a keen understanding of market drivers and the competitive landscape.

• Strong business, commercial, and strategic acumen from a global perspective.
• Strong knowledge of and experience with profit and loss (P&L) statements.
• Demonstrated industry and product line experience including in-depth technology/product knowledge, industry trends, and the competitive landscape.
• Effective communication skills, with the ability to present complex ideas in a compelling and comprehensive manner.
• A relentless and versatile learner who is open to change and enjoys the challenge of unfamiliar tasks.
• Must be willing and able to travel extensively as required, which may frequently exceed 50%.

This position may require work hours outside of the regularly scheduled hours to meet operational needs. This may include work during evenings, weekends, and/or holidays. Additional work hours are assigned based on business requirements. Non-exempt employees will be paid overtime in accordance with applicable federal, state, and local laws.

The salary range for this position reflects a broad spectrum of experience levels. Individual compensation within the range is determined by multiple factors, including relevant experience, education, certifications, job related skills, internal equity, and market conditions. We evaluate each candidate individually to ensure fair and competitive pay decisions.
