What you'll do?

Thisis anexcellentfull-timeopportunity tocare for a dynamicmember base and work with a wide array ofconditions.As a member of the Eagle Vision Eye Care team, you'll work in a modern, dynamic, state-of-the-art practice in the Sacramento location. You'll provide comprehensive eye care to patients of all ages and visual and medical conditions, educate patients about their ocular health, and recommend vision-enhancing products-a typical day consists of 22 patients. You'll have access to advanced diagnostic technology, including Optos and fundus photography. Both locations are entirely cloud-based, supporting a paperless environment that enables electronic medical records and charting from anywhere-plus a highly trained staff to support you throughout examinations.The position is Monday through Friday and potentially select Saturdays.

Job Specifications

Typically has the following skills or abilities:

Doctor of Optometry degree, O.D., including Third Party Administrator (TPA) certificate of licensure

1-3 years of clinical practice experience with current knowledge of Optometric technology and practices; new graduates are encouraged to apply

Strong verbal and written communication skills

Strong management, leadership, and organizational skills

Strong business aptitude, self-discipline, and ability to deliver outstanding patient service

Ability to exercise discretion and independent judgment in the performance of his/her job duties

For roles that are remote (i.e., Work From Home (WFH)) or hybrid (i.e., partial onsite at a VSP location and WFH), must demonstrate a high level of engagement in virtual environments, including maintaining camera presence during meetings to support effective communication and team alignment

The working environment is generally favorable, lighting and temperature are adequate, and there are no hazardous or unpleasant conditions caused by noise, dust, etc.
