This hospitality-based role is fully on-site in a fast-paced, high-throughput entertainment, attractions, and retail environment supporting in-person guest and team interactions

Schedule:

This role requires scheduling flexibility, including evenings, weekends, holidays, and opening and closing shifts based on business needs.

The Impact You'll Make:

As a Retail & Attractions Supervisor at Great Wolf Lodge, you will drive revenue, operational consistency, and guest satisfaction across retail outlets and attractions by leading daily floor execution, coaching Pack Members, and enforcing service, merchandising, operations and safety standards, while offering hands-on leadership experience and development across diverse operations.

Key Responsibilities:

Enhance Guest Experience

  • Model and coach greet and guest engagement behaviors with team
  • Deliver consistent, brand-aligned guest experiences that uphold sales, service and brand standards across retail and attractions through strong floor leadership and team execution
  • Resolve guest concerns and escalations to maintain satisfaction and support a positive guest environment

Safety

  • Conduct walkthroughs to verify all retail and attractions areas are safe, properly staffed, and ready for operation
  • Maintain a safe, compliant, and operationally ready environment by reinforcing safety standards and team adherence
  • Identify, address, and escalate safety or operational risks to support a proactive safety culture
  • Participate in required safety and emergency training

Drive Accountability & Results

  • Execute daily operations, including opening/closing procedures across retail and attractions to ensure alignment with service, operational, and performance expectations
  • Support revenue and participation goals by reinforcing selling behaviors, promotions, and guest engagement
  • Maintain operational consistency by validating execution against brand standards and addressing issues immediately

Drive Employee Engagement

  • Support a high-performing team through daily, coaching, direction, and recognition
  • Support hiring, scheduling and trainings efforts
  • Reinforce performance expectations and training, providing real-time feedback to improve team effectiveness

Retail & Attractions Operations

  • Support efficient operations by ensuring areas are staffed, trained, prepared, clean and maintained to brand standards
  • Validate and maintain attraction readiness, throughput performance, and operating hours/schedule accuracy to ensure consistent operational execution

  • Support across outlets as needed during peak hours, special events, guest escalations, or when managing operational issues

Required Qualifications & Skills:

  • High school diploma or equivalent experience
  • Minimum of one (1) year of retail, attractions and/or hospitality experience
  • Experience using Microsoft Office (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
  • Ability to manage multiple priorities and tasks with minimal direction
  • Demonstrated skills in customer service, conflict resolution, employee engagement, retention, and team building
  • Ability to support and guide team members through effective communication and day-to-day coordination
  • Proficient in written and spoken English
  • Flexibility regarding scheduling based on business demands; including evenings, weekends, and Holidays
  • Successful completion of a background check and drug screening

Preferred Qualifications:

  • Associate's degree or higher in Hospitality or a related field
  • Experience in retail, attractions and/or hospitality leadership
  • Previous experience with cash transactions and Point of Sale systems
  • Hospitality experience, preferably in a large-scale resort or family entertainment environment
  • Must meet Ropes Course Operator requirements and be comfortable working at heights of 30 feet or more for extended periods of time

Physical Requirements:

  • Ability to lift 30lbs
  • Ability to stand/sit and walk for long periods of time
  • Ability to bend, stretch and twist
  • Comfortable working in various outdoor weather conditions
  • Ability to work in a loud environment with flashing lights
