Regions Hospital is seeking a positive and cheerful Custodial Worker II to join our team! We are looking for honest, hardworking individuals who are driven to help others. Custodial Worker II provides a clean and safe environment for patients to receive care and staff to provide care. This position is responsible for: * Cleaning and servicing all areas of the hospital according to established procedures areas such as Operating Rooms, Labor and Delivery, Cath Lab, Emergency Room, and Burn Unit. * Moves supplies throughout the hospital and will also move light equipment or furniture occasionally per department set up request. * Performs a variety of environmental services and cleaning duties to help maintain the hospital in a clean and sanitary condition. * Performs other duties as assigned. FTE: 0.0; Casual Work schedule: 10pm-630am; Required to work every other weekend Required Qualifications: Education: High School diploma or equivalent preferred Experience: Custodial experience in a hospital-related environment preferred Must be able to read, write and follow directions and/or oral instructions in English. Physical requirements: Ability to lift up to 50 pounds. Ability to push/pull 30 pounds up to 90 feet. Salary Rate: $21.47/hour
