Coordinates daily activities of scheduling staff. Monitors work of assigned staff and acts as a professional resource. Acts as a professional liaison for staff, other hospitals, personnel, and physician offices.

REQUIRED

  1. Two (2) years clerical experience, with 6 month of supervisory experience, or 3 years of clerical clinical experience.

PREFERRED

  1. Previous experience in admission or scheduling environment in a hospital/medical office environment.
  1. Previous supervisory experience.
  2. Ability to type forty (40) words per minute.
  3. Demonstrated knowledge of medical terminology.
  4. Demonstrated problem-solving skills.
  5. Demonstrated knowledge and skill in the utilization of computer applications.
  6. Demonstrated organizational and communication/customer service skills.
