Stockperson

• Maintains positive relationships with patients/customers, co-workers and supervisors. (Competency 1)
• Takes responsibility for self-development, supports a learning environment, and is committed to the mission, vision and values of UH. (Competency 2)
• Refills appropriate cabinets inside and outside patient treatment rooms, and notifies supervisor when supply cabinets and stockroom supplies are in short stock. (Competency 3)
• Maintains cleanliness of equipment in the Center in accordance with manufacturer standards, to include: daily dusting of crash carts, defibrillators, suction machines, VS machines, WOWs, ultrasound machines and other equipment as assigned. (Competency 4)
• Assists with routine preventative maintenance of equipment, such as: patient care carts, thermometers, otoscopes, and ophtlamascopes and other equipment, as assigned. (Competency 5)
• Works in conjunction with departmental services and Supply Chain Technician to ensure the department is appropriately stocked and equipment is functioning. Follows up on equipment repair requests as needed. (Competency 6)

• Must abide by all requirements to safely and securely maintain Protected Health Information (PHI) for our patients. Annual training, the UH Code of Conduct and UH policies and procedures are in place to address appropriate use of PHI in the workplace.
