HR & Talent Operations Specialist Summary: This is a key HR role focused on assisting the Museum's managers with a variety of talent recruitment and acquisition functions. Support includes, but is not limited to, providing subject matter expert strategies to attract, source, evaluate, and hire top job candidates. This includes actively supporting the yearly summer internship program life-cycle. The position serves as the first and primary HR point of contact for employees and the public, and manages the department's flow of information. This includes department reception, all-staff communication, requisitions and HCM workflows, background checks, job postings, offer letters, etc. This position also serves as the department's records manager responsible for employee, volunteer, and candidate data, as well as HR process documentation. This position serves as the Wellness + Engagement Program administrator. Duties and Responsibilities: Recruiting & Onboarding

Qualifications: Bachelor's Degree and two years' experience working in a human resources environment is required or equivalent combination of education and experience. Competency with Microsoft Office, SharePoint, and Microsoft Forms required; and Power BI preferred. Experience in HCM Systems (Dayforce preferred). Must have a general knowledge of laws and processes governing the human resources function. Excellent organization, multi-tasking, tech-savvy, initiative, and accuracy required. Service-oriented self-starter with business acumen, pleasant and welcoming communication style, with the ability to handle impromptu questions and troubleshoot issues expediently. Must be able to comfortably work with regular interruptions, troubleshoot issues, serve as department "gatekeeper" as needed, while balancing various administrative tasks with ease and confidence throughout the workday.
