Now Hiring: Quality Engineer

Location: Clinton, TN

Salary: $110,000 - $125,000

We are seeking an experienced Quality Engineer to support automotive manufacturing operations by improving product and process quality, reducing defects, leading root-cause investigations, and supporting customer requirements. This role partners closely with Quality, Manufacturing, Engineering, Customers, and Suppliers while supporting APQP, PPAP/ISIR, corrective actions, continuous improvement, and new product launches.

Key Responsibilities



  • Lead root-cause analysis and corrective actions using 8D, 5 Why, Fishbone, and other problem-solving tools.
  • Support APQP, PPAP/ISIR, PFMEA, Control Plans, MSA, and SPC activities.
  • Drive defect reduction, scrap reduction, and continuous improvement initiatives.
  • Serve as a quality liaison for customers, suppliers, and internal teams.
  • Support new product launches, engineering changes, and process improvements.
  • Manage containment activities and customer quality concerns.
  • Develop quality metrics and monitor process performance.
  • Participate in audits and ensure compliance with automotive quality standards.
  • Provide technical support to manufacturing and production teams.



Required Qualifications



  • 3+ years of Quality Engineering experience in manufacturing.
  • Automotive manufacturing experience preferred.
  • Experience with APQP, PPAP/ISIR, root-cause analysis, and corrective actions.
  • Ability to interpret engineering drawings and technical specifications.
  • Strong analytical, communication, and problem-solving skills.
  • Bachelor's degree in Engineering, Quality, Manufacturing, or related field preferred.



Preferred Qualifications



  • Experience with IATF 16949 and AIAG Core Tools.
  • OEM or Tier 1 automotive experience.
  • Supplier Quality and Customer Quality experience.
  • Lean Manufacturing, Six Sigma, or continuous improvement experience.
  • Launch/NPI experience in automotive manufacturing.
