Education Requirements High school diploma or GED required Technical school, trade certification, or equivalent hands-on experience preferred Training in plumbing, HVAC, electrical, mechanical systems, construction, or related skilled trades is a plus Valid driver's license with a good driving record required Applicable trade certifications and licenses preferred Experience Requirements 2-5 years of commercial maintenance, facilities maintenance, plumbing, construction, or building systems experience Experience installing, maintaining, and repairing plumbing systems, water lines, drain lines, piping, boilers, water heaters, and related equipment Knowledge of HVAC, electrical, carpentry, and general building repairs Ability to read work orders, complete reports, and use tablets, smartphones, and Microsoft Office applications Strong customer service, communication, troubleshooting, and problem-solving skills Understanding of OSHA safety standards and safe work practices Ability to travel locally between customer locations Physical Capabilities Ability to stand, walk, climb, bend, kneel, crouch, crawl, and work from ladders regularly Frequently lift up to 50 lbs. and occasionally lift up to 75 lbs. Ability to work indoors and outdoors in varying environments and weather conditions Comfortable working around mechanical equipment, electrical systems, and industrial machinery Ability to wear required PPE and safely operate company vehicles and tools Job Duties Perform preventive, predictive, and corrective maintenance on commercial facilities and building systems Diagnose and repair plumbing, piping, HVAC, electrical, carpentry, and general maintenance issues Install and service water lines, compressed air systems, drain lines, process piping, boilers, and water heaters Complete inspections, work orders, service reports, and quality documentation using mobile technology Coordinate materials and supplies for maintenance projects Maintain positive customer relationships and provide exceptional service Follow all safety regulations, OSHA requirements, and company standards Support emergency repairs and ongoing facility maintenance needs across multiple customer sites Benefits vary by client and are confirmed at the time of offer.
