Job Description
Job duties may include but are not limited to the following:
- Supervise and coordinate mechanical insulation crews on job sites
- Overall responsibility for crew safety, performance, productivity and work quality for assigned projects
- Read and interpret contract drawings, shop drawings, specifications, and project documents
- Plan and organize daily work activities to meet project schedules and deadlines
- Ensure proper installation of insulation systems on piping, ductwork, tanks, and equipment
- Maintain high standards of craftsmanship and quality control across all work performed
- Enforce all company safety policies and procedures, including proper use of PPE
- Conduct daily safety meetings and ensure compliance with OSHA and company safety standards
- Monitor crew productivity, labor performance, and material usage
- Coordinate with project managers, superintendents, and other trades to ensure job progress
- Train, mentor, and develop crew members, including apprentices and journeymen
- Identify and resolve job site issues proactively to avoid delays or rework
- Maintain accurate daily reports, timekeeping, and documentation
- Ensure tools, equipment, and materials are properly maintained and utilized
This position is safety-sensitive.
Pay Range: $36.37-$37.37/hr
Preferred Requirements
- OSHA 30
- Bilingual in English and Spanish
- Willingness to travel and manage out-of-town projects is desirable.
- Experience with Procore software is desirable.

- Coordinar con gerentes de proyecto, superintendentes y otros oficios para garantizar el avance del trabajo

Requisitos
- Minimo 2 anos de experiencia como Capataz de Aislamiento Mecanico
- Debe tener al menos 18 anos
- Capacidad para realizar calculos matematicos basicos
- Capacidad para soportar largos periodos de pie y trabajando al aire libre
- Capacidad fisica para realizar las tareas asignadas
- Debe poder levantar hasta 40 libras
- Debe contar con transporte confiable
