Our Boston Adult Congenital Heart (BACH) Pulmonary Hypertension Division is committed to your lifelong cardiac care needs. In partnership with Brigham and Women's Hospital, we offer a full range of inpatient and outpatient clinical services to adults with CHD and pulmonary hypertension, from diagnosis to cardiac catheterization and surgical repair. What's more, we're devoted to helping our patients maximize their physical, emotional, medical, and social health.

Our program sees more than 3,000 adults annually. While many of our patients have been treated at Boston Children's Hospital their entire lives, we also welcome new patients - of every age. There is no form of CHD or pulmonary hypertension that's too complex for our team.

Key responsibilities:
  • Providing care to adolescent and adult patients with congenital and acquired heart disease within the Boston Adult Congenital Heart (BACH) Program who are cared for at Boston Children's and Mass General Brigham.
  • Phone triage of routine and urgent concerns in collaboration with APP and MD colleagues
  • Pre-clinic preparation - route orders for diagnostic testing for MD /APP cosign
  • Prescription refills - via phone or route via e-prescribe to MD /APP prescriber for cosign
  • Support for prior authorizations, referrals, letters of medical necessity
  • Patient and family education and anticipatory guidance
  • Follow-up phone calls regarding test results and follow-up recommendations
  • Working 40 hours per week: Monday through Friday, either five 8 hour shifts or four 10 hour shifts

Minimum qualifications:
  • Education:
  • Bachelor of Science in Nursing
  • Experience:
  • 2 years of adult cardiac or pediatric cardiac RN experience (3-5 years preferred, acute care inpatient preferred)
  • EMR competency
  • Ability to travel to satellite locations if operational need
  • License/certification:
  • Current MA RN license
  • BLS certification

The posted pay range is Boston Children's reasonable and good-faith expectation for this pay at the time of posting.

Any base pay offer provided depends on skills, experience, education, certifications, and a variety of other job-related factors.
