Position Summary: The Senior Financial Systems Analyst is part of the Finance Controller teams and serves as the primary liaison across Finance leadership teams, IT, Data, and other areas within the organization. This role is responsible for supporting, optimizing, and transforming Finance technology platforms, including SAP, financial close and reporting systems, automation solutions, and emerging AI technologies. The position combines deep expertise in financial systems and accounting processes with a passion for continuous improvement, automation, and digital transformation initiatives that improve efficiency, controls, reporting, and business decision-making. Key Responsibilities: Financial Systems Administration & Support * Support and maintain financial systems including SAP ECC/S4, SAP Analytics Cloud (SAC), SAP CO-PA, SAP PM, ECCS, Blackline, ServiceNow, and related applications. * Coordinate and support month-end, quarter-end, and year-end close activities, ensuring system reliability and data integrity. * Troubleshoot system, interface, reporting, and data-processing issues and drive timely resolution. * Manage Finance system security, user provisioning, and role-based access controls. * Manage financial master data governance, including cost centers, profit centers, internal orders, hierarchies, and reporting structures. * Ensure financial systems operate reliably, securely, and in accordance with internal controls and audit requirements. * Ensure data accuracy, consistency, and integrity across Finance systems. * Manage data validation, reconciliation, and governance initiatives. Finance Transformation & Process Improvement * Design, build, and support automated workflows using such tools as ServiceNow, Blackline, Microsoft Power Automate and related technologies. * Automate approvals, notifications, reconciliations, data validations, report distribution, and system monitoring activities. * Partner with business stakeholders to redesign inefficient processes and improve operational effectiveness. * Ensure automation solutions are documented, controlled, scalable, and maintainable. * Identify opportunities to reduce manual effort through automation, analytics, and AI-enabled solutions. * Assist with evaluation and deployment of technologies such as Microsoft Copilot, AI Builder, and intelligent workflow automation tools. * Participate in Finance transformation projects focused on automation, analytics, reporting modernization, AI, and operational efficiency. Business Partnership & Project Delivery * Function as the liaison between Finance, IT, Shared Services, and external vendors. * Gather business requirements and translate them into technical solutions. * Support system implementations, upgrades, testing, change management, and user training. * Develop and maintain SOPs, process documentation, technical specifications, and training materials. * Lead small-to-medium projects and contribute to larger Finance transformation initiatives. The salary range for this position is $110,000 - $146,000. Messer provides medical, dental, vision, short term disability, life insurance and paid time off as well as other voluntary benefits, such as, long term disability in accordance with the terms and conditions of these Plans. Employees are eligible to enroll in Messer's 401(k) Plan. Employees may be eligible to participate in the company's bonus program.
