Minimum to Midpoint Pay Rate:$20.37 - $24.44 / hour

Provides advanced oncology technician support to the Pharmacist in the preparation, dispensing, distribution, and control of medications throughout the facility. Practices as a technician role model and assists in the orientation and training of depart1ment personnel as assigned. All job duties shall be performed in accordance with all applicable State and Federal laws, regulatory agency standards, professional practice standards, and policies and procedures of the health system/pharmacy department.

This role includes advanced IV medication preparation, including chemotherapy medications, requiring exceptional attention to detail, precision, and a strong commitment to patient safety. Your work will directly support our healthcare team and help ensure patients receive the right medications at the right time.

Education:High School diploma or equivalent required.

Experience: Twoyears' hospital pharmacy experience required. 2 years of Pharmacy Technician experience preferred.

Certification:CphT (Certified Pharmacy Technician) with national Pharmacy Technician Certification Board (PTCB) required.

License:Registered Pharmacy Technician with Florida Department of Health required.

Other:Data entry and knowledge of pharmaceutical terminology. Ability to cope with confrontation.
