The Quality Project Coordinator supports the successful delivery of projects by ensuring quality processes, documentation, and compliance requirements are met throughout the project lifecycle. Working closely with Project Managers and cross-functional teams, this role coordinates project setup, quality reviews, risk management, documentation, and project closeout activities in accordance with the company's Quality Management System (QMS) and established procedures. This position plays a vital role in ensuring projects are established, executed, reviewed, and closed in compliance with organizational quality standards while supporting successful project delivery.

In the role of Quality Project Coordinator, we'll count on you to:

  • Coordinate project startup activities, including proposal checks, contracts, risk assessments, pursuit documentation, and project setup requirements.
  • Prepare, maintain, and verify required QMS documentation, safety plans, due diligence records, Project Management Plans and other project compliance documents.
  • Process project forms, monitor approval workflows, and coordinate project openings with accounting and project teams.
  • Attend, schedule, coordinate, and document project quality reviews, including tracking action items and updating project risk information.
  • Maintain project records and ensure documentation is complete, accurate, and filed according to company standards throughout project execution.
  • Monitor project quality activities and financial/project metrics to support compliance and effective project management.
  • Coordinate and work with Project Managers for project closeout by verifying final documentation, records, invoices, and closeout requirements are completed and properly archived.
  • Serve as a resource to Project Managers and internal stakeholders by promoting consistent quality practices and ensuring compliance with company policies and procedures.
  • Perform other duties as needed
Preferred Qualifications
  • A minimum of 5 years related experience
  • Bachelor's degree in business administration, Engineering, Construction Management, Quality Management, or a related field preferred.
  • Experience supporting project coordination, quality management, engineering, architecture, or professional consulting projects preferred.
    Strong organizational skills with exceptional attention to detail.
  • Experience managing multiple priorities and meeting deadlines.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office Suite and document management systems; experience with project management, financial, or quality management software is a plus.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills.
  • Ability to collaborate effectively across multidisciplinary teams.
Required Qualifications
  • Associate degree in a closely related field or combination of education and relevant experience
  • A minimum of 1 years related experience
  • Proficiency in Microsoft Word and Excel
  • An attitude and commitment to being an active participant of our employee-owned culture is a must
