Cranberry Township's Parks and Recreation is seeking applicants for a part-time Recreational Site Coordinator position. This position's primary responsibilities are related to supporting evening and weekend operations at the Township's Municipal Center. Expected applicable hours of operations may include weekday evenings hours of 5:00 PM - 11:30 PM and weekend hours of 6:30 AM - 11:30 PM but will ultimately be determined by dates and times of activities, rentals and events at the building. This position will be expected to typically work between 20-25 hours per week.
Essential job duties and responsibilities for this position include, but are not limited to: *Open, close and ensure the Township Municipal Center is secured according to established procedures. *Program and manage door access and schedules associated with the same for staff, visitors and events utilizing various Township software. *Inspect, prepare and arrange rooms for meetings, events and rentals *Coordinate with full-time and part-time staff to ensure daily facility readiness. Verify event spaces are clean, organized and equipped. *Assist with scheduling part-time staff necessary for facility and operational support during evening and weekend hours. *Monitor facility operations and promptly address access or set up issues. *Coordinate off-site recreation events held in the Township parks as directed. *Provide excellent customer service to facility users, renters, and event organizers. Position Requirements Applicants must be a minimum of 18 years of age have a valid Driver's License, obtain all required PA Child Protective Service Law (CPSL) Clearances prior to hire date and be able to obtain CPR/AED and First Aid certifications within six (6) months of hire. Experience in Parks and Recreation, Facility Management or other related experience preferred. Necessary Knowledge, Skills and Abilities for the position include, but are not limited to: *Knowledge of customer service principles and best practices, particularly in a public-facing environment and ability to build positive relationships with patrons, staff, instructors, contractors, and community partners and resolve customer complaints calmly and effectively. *Skill in operating Microsoft suite applications and the ability to learn and utilize Department specific software. *Basic technical skills, including the ability to troubleshoot various hardware, software and equipment, including but not limited to computers, tablets, printers, audiovisual equipment, access control systems, and Wi-Fi connectivity. *Ability to conduct routine facility inspections and identify safety hazards, ensure facilities meet cleanliness, safety, and operational standards and initiate correction actions as necessary. *Ability to work independently with minimal supervision. *Ability to work evening and weekend hours. *Ability to lift up to fifty (50) pounds. *Ability to move throughout and access all necessary areas of the facilities. | |
