Maine state licensure to practice as a Licensed Clinical Social Worker (LCSW), Licensed Masters Social Worker - Clinical Conditional (LMSW-CC), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor (LCPC), Licensed Clinical Professional Counselor - Conditional (LCPC-c), Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist (LMFT) or Licensed Marriage and Family Therapist - Conditional (LMFT-c) is required

Summary:
The role of Behavioral Health Clinician II, working under an independent license, involves providing comprehensive care and support to clients with behavioral health needs. The key responsibilities include conducting assessments, developing treatment plans, and providing direct care through individual, group, and family therapy sessions.

Required Minimum Knowledge, Skills, and Abilities (KSAs)

  1. Education: Master's degree in social work, Clinical Counseling, Addiction Treatment, or related field
  2. License/Certifications: Licensed LCPC, LCSW, or LMFT from the respective licensing board of the State of Maine Office of Professional and Occupational Regulation (OPOR)
  3. Experience: At least two years of behavioral health experience including employment as a conditionally licensed clinician.

This is a part-time position, working 20 hours per week. The successful candidate will provide behavioral health services within an Obstetrics and Gynecology (OBGYN) setting as part of an interdisciplinary team dedicated to supporting women's health across the lifespan.
About the Role
Working as a Behavioral Health Clinician within the OBGYN practice offers a unique opportunity to support patients through some of the most important stages of their lives. The clinician will provide assessment, intervention, consultation, and care coordination for individuals experiencing mental health concerns related to reproductive health, pregnancy, postpartum adjustment, infertility, pregnancy loss, chronic gynecologic conditions, and other women's health needs. This role emphasizes collaborative care, working closely with OBGYN providers, nursing staff, and community partners to promote whole-person health and optimize outcomes for patients during preconception, prenatal, postpartum, and gynecologic care.

The pay range for this position is $34.35to $46.46 per hour.

Compensation for part-time positions isdeterminedon a prorated basis consistent with the scheduled hours and applicable full-time equivalent (FTE).
