McKesson is an impact-driven healthcare leader focused on advancing health outcomes for all. The Director, Integrations and Operations provides strategic and operational leadership for practice integration and transition activities across The US Oncology Network, helping ensure new and existing Network partnerships are positioned for successful execution, operational adoption, and long-term impact.

This role is responsible for leading the end-to-end execution of practice integrations and operational transitions, including successful onboarding, adoption, and sustained performance within the Network. The Director operates as an individual contributor and integration delivery owner, aligning cross-functional Network support teams, operational workstreams, practice leadership, and executive stakeholders to effectively connect practices to Network resources, capabilities, and operating models.

The Director, Integrations and Operations is also a key participant in due diligence activities, partnering with business development and operational leaders to support the evaluation of operational risks, mitigation planning, and execution of integration plans that enable informed decision-making.

• Lead the end-to-end execution of integration processes for practices joining The US Oncology Network across affiliation models, including Comprehensive Service Agreements, Joint Ventures, and In-Market Affiliations.

• Own the full integration lifecycle for assigned practices by translating diligence insights into actionable plans and driving execution through completion.

• Deliver operational readiness by ensuring functional teams, including accounting, revenue cycle, human resources, information technology, and operations, are prepared, aligned, and resourced ahead of go-live.

• Coordinate cross-functional stakeholders and serve as the central point of accountability for priorities, sequencing, dependencies, risks, and decision alignment.

• Lead go-live activities and early-stage execution to support continuity of operations and rapid resolution of gaps, barriers, or issues.

• Provide clear executive-level visibility into integration progress, readiness, risks, milestones, dependencies, and key decisions.

• Collaborate with Network leaders and functional partners to strengthen integration tools, templates, and processes that improve consistency, scalability, and operational effectiveness.

• Provide targeted operational leadership and support to Network practices facing leadership transitions, performance gaps, or execution challenges.

• Step in as needed to provide interim leadership, structure, and operational accountability during periods of transition or change.

• Partner with regional and practice leadership to assess performance, identify operational gaps, and drive focused improvement actions.

• Support onboarding and integration of new practice leaders by reinforcing expectations, priorities, and alignment with Network operating models.

• Serve as a liaison between practices and Network resources to ensure timely access to expertise, capabilities, and support.

• Engage effectively with senior executives, practice leaders, clinical stakeholders, and operational teams by providing clear, concise updates and recommendations that support timely decision-making.

• Navigate ambiguity, organizational complexity, and competing priorities while maintaining alignment, accountability, and forward momentum.

• Bachelor's degree in Healthcare Administration, Business Administration, or a related field required.

• Minimum of 9 years of progressive experience in healthcare operations, including demonstrated experience managing an oncology practice, such as medical, surgical, and/or radiation oncology.

• Minimum of five years of supervisory or leadership experience, with a track record of coaching, developing, and managing clinical or administrative staff.

• Proficiency in Microsoft Office Suite, including Outlook, Excel, Word, and PowerPoint.

• Demonstrated experience leading complex operational initiatives, integrations, transitions, or practice transformation efforts in a healthcare environment.

• Strong understanding of oncology practice operations, including clinical, administrative, revenue cycle, technology, and leadership considerations.

• Ability to lead through influence in a highly matrixed environment while aligning cross-functional stakeholders around priorities, decisions, and execution plans.

• Strong project and operational execution skills, including the ability to manage milestones, dependencies, risks, timelines, and competing priorities.

• Executive-level communication skills with the ability to translate complex integration and operational priorities into clear, actionable recommendations.

• Ability to build trust quickly in dynamic, high-visibility environments and establish credibility with practice leaders, functional partners, and executive stakeholders.

• Strong business judgment and problem-solving skills, with the ability to assess operational risk, develop mitigation plans, and support informed decision-making.

• Ability to provide clear, actionable feedback to practice and Network leadership regarding operational performance, risks, and improvement opportunities.

• Project Management certification or formal project management training, such as PMP or equivalent.

• Experience in community-based oncology settings.

• Experience with Electronic Health Record systems; experience with iKnowMed and/or iKnowMed G2 preferred.

• Knowledge of Practice Management Systems; experience with Centricity Practice and Centricity Business platforms preferred.

• Experience with project management practices, processes, and software platforms; experience with Asana preferred.

Travel Requirements: Up to 70% travel required, including planned integration visits and ad hoc operational support engagements across The US Oncology Network.
