Dean of Journalism Job Description
The Missouri School of Journalism is pleased to announce the opening of the Senior Executive Assistant to the Dean. The ideal candidate will play an instrumental role in the success of sustaining our department's mission; partner with the Dean to manage projects and ensure that the daily operations of the Dean's office runs smoothly and efficiently. In this role, the candidate will provide a high-level of administrative support to the Dean, Promotion and Tenure Committee, Policy Committee, and various other faculty, as needed. The Senior Executive Assistant accomplishes various responsibilities that require a specific knowledge of policies and procedures and University systems, including utilizing Microsoft Office 365, handling correspondence, and strong coordination, planning, organization, and time management skills to manage and execute projects and tasks to meet sensitive deadlines. Monday - Friday Minimum Qualifications
A Bachelor's degree or an equivalent combination of education and experience and at least 4 years of experience from which comparable knowledge and skills can be acquired is necessary Preferred Qualifications
