ABOUT US

For more than 35 years, Mide Technology-part of the Hutchinson family-has operated as a dynamic and dependable engineering services and R&D organization based in Woburn, MA. We provide advanced products and solutions to customers within U.S. government agencies (including the Department of Defense and NASA) as well as across a wide range of commercial industries. Our core work spans propulsion shaft sealing systems for naval ships, piezoelectric technologies, shock and vibration measurement tools and software, and smart, IoT-enabled systems. We remain committed to creating innovative, high-value solutions for our clients.

We offer an environment where people can grow professionally and are rewarded for initiative and creativity. Mide maintains a close-knit culture with just over 50 employees in our Woburn office, including 20+ engineers across software, electrical, mechanical, and firmware specialties. Over the years, we have successfully transitioned multiple R&D efforts into established product lines, including wireless data loggers and critical propulsion seals used by the U.S. Navy.
