Family-Owned Recreational Resort | On-Site Housing Available


W.C. Bradley Farms is seeking an experienced and dependable Sous Chef to join our culinary team at our family-owned recreational resort in Omaha, Georgia.


This is a hands-on culinary leadership position for someone who takes pride in preparing high-quality meals, providing exceptional guest service, and working as part of a close-knit team. The Sous Chef will work closely with the Executive Chef and will be responsible for helping manage kitchen operations, food preparation, inventory, sanitation, and kitchen staff.


On-site housing is available for this position.

Duties and Responsibilities

  • Prepare and cook meats, fish, poultry, gravies, cereals, soups, vegetables, and other foods.
  • Assist in preparing and serving meals on time and according to guest requests and resort schedules.
  • Maintain grocery and kitchen inventory, including monitoring and recording inventory levels.
  • Order food, groceries, and other kitchen supplies as necessary.
  • Assist with maintaining the cleanliness and organization of the kitchen, food-storage areas, and cooking equipment.
  • Maintain order, professionalism, and discipline in the kitchen during working hours.
  • Manage and provide direction to the kitchen team in the Executive Chef's absence.
  • Maintain high standards for food quality, consistency, and presentation.
  • Adhere to and implement established sanitation, food-safety, and workplace-safety regulations.
  • Help ensure an efficient kitchen operation while providing an exceptional experience for resort guests.
  • Perform other duties as assigned.

Qualification Requirements

Minimum Education:Bachelor's Degree a Plus


Minimum Work Experience: Three (3+) years of experience as a Sous Chef or in a comparable culinary leadership position.


License(s) / Certification(s):None

  • Strong knowledge of professional cooking methods, kitchen equipment, and culinary best practices.
  • Strong verbal communication and interpersonal skills.
  • Ability to work effectively as part of a team and provide leadership when needed.

  • Ability to manage multiple priorities in a guest-focused environment.
  • Ability to maintain regular and predictable attendance.
  • Ability to work in a constant state of alertness and maintain a safe working environment.
