This position reports to:

Warehouse/Internal Logistics Supervisor

Responsibilities:

Responsible for leading, communicating and directing distribution associates through daily activities while placing high emphasis on safety, quality,

productivity, and housekeeping to meet the daily goals and objectives.

  • Lead communicates and direct distribution associates through daily activities focusing on safety, quality, productivity, and housekeeping.

  • Perform process audits to ensure compliance to documented procedures.

  • Hands-on participation requiring high level of floor presence to direct the flow of daily activities and the timely movement of associates to ensure maximum efficiency and effectiveness throughout the operation.

  • Capture daily performance activity for determining effective methods to increase performance.

  • Monitor system and communication with internal/external customers to ensure work in being completed timely.

  • Attend and assist with "Pre-Shift" meeting to share information, discuss safety, quality, daily plans, and staffing needs.

  • Provide feedback and input to supervisor regarding associate's performance, behavior, and attendance.

  • Follow all safety guidelines and always use appropriate PPE.

  • Other duties as requested by management.

The work model for the role is: Onsite

You will be mainly accountable for:

  • Helping management implement staff movements in case of vacations, illnesses, machine outages, or shifting priorities.

  • Reinforcing focus on volume, efficiency, and on-time delivery.

  • Assisting management and shift team in allocating, coordinating, and overseeing shift orders and work plan execution within production lines during the shift.

  • Serving as a leader during shifts to oversee cooperation and the resolution of technical/quality problems and logistic issues.

Qualifications:

  • Experience & Education: Minimum 2 years in a fast-paced distribution environment with a high school diploma or equivalent; prior leadership experience and WMS knowledge preferred.

  • Technical & Physical Requirements: Proficient in basic computer skills, warehouse systems, and power industrial equipment; able to lift up to 40 lbs, work at heights, and perform physical tasks throughout the shift.

  • Leadership & Communication: Strong leadership, organizational, and communication skills; capable of managing multiple priorities and adapting to changing demands.

  • Professionalism & Flexibility: Maintains confidentiality, demonstrates attention to detail, and is flexible to work different shifts or overtime with minimal notice.
