As a Security Guard Customer Service Patrol Specialist in Brooklyn, NY, you will serve and safeguard clients in a range of industries such as Government, and more. Join Allied Universal as an Unarmed Patrol Officer at a government location, where you will monitor and patrol assigned areas, remain visible to help to deter security-related incidents, and support a welcoming environment through strong communication and customer service. In this role, you will contribute to daily operations with integrity, teamwork, and reliability while delivering responsive support to people throughout the location.

What You'll Do:

Provide customer service to passengers, visitors, and staff by carrying out security-related procedures, site-specific policies, and/or emergency response activities at a public transportation location.
• Respond to incidents, disturbances, and critical situations in a calm, problem-solving manner, and report observations to appropriate personnel.
• Conduct regular and random patrols of stations, platforms, entrances, waiting areas, and perimeter locations to help to deter unauthorized activity and/or policy violations.
• Monitor access points, public areas, and restricted locations while documenting unusual activity, maintenance concerns, and/or security-related issues according to site protocols.
• Assist with crowd management, directions, and general information during routine operations, service disruptions, and/or special events.

Minimum Requirements:

• Possess a valid New York State Security Guard License.
• Customer service experience is preferred.
• Be at least 18 years of age for unarmed roles; 21+ years of age for armed roles.
• Possess a high school diploma or equivalent.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a background investigation in accordance with all federal, state, and local laws.
• Allied Universal will consider qualified applications with criminal histories in a manner consistent with applicable laws.
• As a condition of employment, applicants will be subject to a drug screen to the extent permitted by law.
• Licensing requirements are subject to state and/or local laws and regulations and may be required prior to employment.
• A valid driver's license will be required for driving positions only.
