About The Role

Summary

The Real Estate Sales & Production Manager leads the Bank's Real Estate Lending Department, driving loan production, profitability, and team performance. This role combines active loan origination with sales leadership, team development, and operational oversight.

The position is responsible for maintaining an individual production pipeline, building referral relationships, and positioning the Bank as a trusted community lending partner. The manager ensures the team meets production goals, adheres to credit standards, and operates in full regulatory compliance while delivering an excellent client experience.

The compensation pay range for this position is $100,000-$115,000 annually plus a Incentive Commission Plan. All compensation offers are analyzed individually and take into consideration multiple factors including but not limited to geographic location, years of experience, and educational background.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:

Primary Duties/Responsibilities:

  • Recruit, hire, coach, develop, and retain high-performing loan originators.
  • Administer any approved incentive compensation program for production staff.
  • Lead the team to achieve overall production, revenue, and profitability goals.
  • Establish clear sales goals and performance expectations.
  • Maintain an active personal loan pipeline to meet individual production goals.
  • Develop and execute sales strategies, marketing plans, and business development initiatives.
  • Build and maintain referral relationships with realtors, builders, and community partners.
  • Ensure effective pipeline management to support efficient processing, high quality, and timely closings.
  • Provide ongoing coaching, training, and performance management.
  • Monitor market conditions to identify growth opportunities and increase market share
  • Collaborate with executive leadership on strategy and market expansion.
  • Provides direction to loan origination staff, loan assistants, and real estate operations to ensure efficient, effective, and service-oriented operations. Evaluate performance and recommend compensation, training, and advancement opportunities.
  • Foster a culture of accountability, customer service, and continuous improvement.
  • Ensure that the department's loan production software is kept current and functioning effectively.
  • Ensure all lending activities comply with bank policy and applicable regulations.
  • Perform job functions in compliance with all company policies, federal and state rules and regulations as applicable to the position, including, but not limited to BSA/AML, OFAC, and GLBA/privacy rules.

Other Job Functions:

  • Must comply with applicable laws and regulations, including but not limited to, the Bank Secrecy Act, the Patriot Act, and the Office of Foreign Assets Control, RESPA, Regulation B, TRID and any other Mortgage related regulations.

Keep work area tidy and maintain customer privacy. Attend and participate in meetings as required.

About You

QUALIFICATIONS:

  • High school diploma or equivalent.
  • 5 or more years of experience in real estate lending, including origination and leadership. (Required)
  • Active NMLS Mortgage Loan Originator (MLO) registration. (Required)

WORK ENVIRONMENT:

Work performed in an office environment. Must be able to routinely perform work indoors in climate-controlled shared work area with moderate noise level.

Must be able to work extended hours or travel off site whenever required or requested by management. Must be capable of regular, reliable and timely attendance. Must be capable of climbing / descending stairs in an emergency situation.

Specific lifting abilities required by this job include: Sedentary work. Exerting up to 10 pounds of force occasionally and/or negligible amount of force frequently or constantly to lift, carry, push, pull or otherwise move objects, including the human body. Sedentary work involves sitting most of the time. Jobs are sedentary if walking and standing are required only occasionally and all other sedentary criteria are met.

Specific vision abilities required by this job include: The worker is required to have close visual acuity to perform an activity such as: preparing and analyzing data and figures; transcribing; viewing a computer terminal; extensive reading; visual inspection involving small defects, small parts, and/or operation/inspection of machines and/or using measurement devices at distances close to the eyes.

COMPENSATION & BENEFITS: Starting salary is dependent upon relevant experience and may vary based on the geographic location of the position.
