Overview Join our IT team as a Senior Systems Analyst, IT Desktop Engineer, supporting enterprise desktop engineering, endpoint management, software deployment, and automation initiatives in a fast-paced technology environment. This role partners with internal teams, MSPs, and business stakeholders to maintain secure, reliable, and modern endpoint services while supporting technologies such as Microsoft Intune, SCCM, application packaging, and endpoint compliance. The ideal candidate brings strong technical, analytical, troubleshooting, and collaboration skills, along with experience driving operational improvements, managing desktop lifecycle activities, and supporting enterprise modernization efforts. This position does not provide employment pursuant to the terms of a STEM OPT Training Plan. Responsibilities
Core Responsibilities
- Manage Windows operating system deployments, upgrades, patching, and lifecycle activities across enterprise devices
- Create and maintain technical documentation, deployment procedures, operational standards, knowledge base articles, and operational reporting while identifying opportunities for continuous improvement across desktop engineering and endpoint operations
- Design, maintain, and support enterprise desktop images, configurations, and endpoint standards
- Package, test, deploy, and support enterprise applications using SCCM, Intune, App-V, and MSIX technologies
- Monitor and maintain endpoint compliance, security patching, and software deployment performance metrics
- Support endpoint security initiatives and ensure compliance with enterprise security standards and policies
- Coordinate software distribution, deployment scheduling, testing, and post-deployment validation activities
- Partner with Enterprise Architecture teams to evaluate emerging technologies, recommend endpoint management improvements, and support enterprise modernization strategies
- Collaborate with Service Desk, infrastructure teams, cybersecurity teams, vendors, MSP partners, and business stakeholders to resolve incidents and improve service delivery
- Lead and support automation and AI Ops initiatives to improve endpoint management, operational efficiency, proactive monitoring, incident reduction, deployment accuracy, and overall end-user experience across enterprise desktop services
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex desktop, application, and endpoint-related issues escalated from support teams
- Support enterprise endpoint management platforms including Microsoft SCCM/MECM, Intune, and WSUS
- Lead in modernization initiatives including migration from SCCM and App-V to Intune and MSIX solutions
- Develop and support automation solutions to improve operational efficiency, deployment consistency, and end-user experience
- Performs additional duties as required, including providing support during emergency response situations
Qualifications
Required Education/Experience
- Master's Degree and a minimum of 2 years of full-time relevant work experience or
- Bachelor's Degree and a minimum of 3 years of full-time relevant work experience or
- Associate's Degree and a minimum of 4 years of full-time relevant work experience or
- High School Diploma/GED and a minimum of 5 years of full-time relevant work experience
Preferred Education/Experience
- Bachelor's Degree in Computer Science, Management Information System, Engineering, Business/Finance or related field and a minimum of 3 years of full-time relevant work experience with experience working in Information Technology, customer, desktop, or presentation support environment
Relevant Work Experience
- Experience supporting large-scale enterprise environments, required
- Demonstrated ability to think strategically while maintaining a hands-on, detail-oriented approach, required
- Collaborative, curious and innovative mindset, required
- Microsoft certifications related to Intune, SCCM, Endpoint Management, or Windows administration, preferred
- Experience in managing projects, representing the organization in building and fostering relationships with customers, support groups, and vendors, and render sound business decisions, preferred

Additional Physical Demands
- The selected candidate will be assigned a System Emergency Assignment (i.e., an emergency response role) and will be expected to work non-business hours during emergencies, which may include nights, weekends, and holidays.
