Job Summary: Join a growing defense contractor where your work has a direct impact on major development and production programs. Mercury Systems is seeking aSenior Contracts Manager to support our Integrated Processing Solutions (IPS) business contract management.This key leadership position requires a deep understanding of both commercial and Department of War contracting practices. It is vital that this individual has the capabilities to work both independently as a strong individual contributor as well as a leader and team player to achieve the best contractual outcomes for our organization. It necessitates excellent leadership and problem-solving skills with a proactive, detail-oriented approach driven to ensure execution of the most complex contractual challenges. The Senior Contracts Manager will be required to deal effectively with competing priorities and deadlines. This individual will provide expert knowledge to assist business leaders with customer relationships, risk analysis with mitigation strategies, regulations, terms negotiation, and proposal preparation. The successful candidate must possess the ability to work well with others as part of an integrated program team in high-pressure with high-volume situations, effectively interface with internal matrixed organizations as well as meet the goals/objectives of the business.
