Location: Amherst, VA

Pay Rate: $18.00 per hour

Schedule: 12-hour rotating shifts on a 3-4-4-3 schedule (days and nights)

Production Associate Requirements:

• Entry-level role; no prior experience required (manufacturing experience a plus).
• Ability to work in a plastic bag manufacturing production environment.
• Ability to operate or learn to operate walk-behind electric pallet jacks (training provided).
• Ability to perform manual packaging and material handling tasks.
• Ability to lift up to 50 lbs. repeatedly throughout the shift.
• Ability to stand, walk, and perform physical work for 12-hour shifts.
• Must wear required PPE: long pants, solid shirts, and steel-toe shoes.
• Ability to perform repetitive production tasks in a fast-paced environment.
• Willingness to maintain housekeeping and sanitation standards throughout the shift.
• Must be able to follow basic production instructions and safety procedures.

Production Associate Job Duties:

• Manually operate packaging equipment in a plastic bag manufacturing environment.
• Hand-stack cartons and cases of finished product onto pallets or staging areas.
• Operate walk-behind electric pallet jacks to move pallets and skids (training provided).
• Keep raw materials, cartons, commodities, and cases stocked during production runs.
• Perform minor equipment adjustments (no tools required) to maintain production flow.
• Support zipper line operations as needed (zipper support role).
• Rework the product during quality issues or non-conformance situations.
• Complete daily and periodic housekeeping to maintain clean and organized work areas.
• Follow production flow requirements in a high-volume manufacturing facility.
• Perform other production-related duties as assigned.
