Internal Communications & Events Specialist

Currently slated for 4-7 months, 40 hours a week

Hybrid: Onsite M/T/TH WFH: W/F

Ability to travel 3-6 days may be required

About the Role

We're seeking an Internal Communications & Events Specialist to support internal initiatives. This role is responsible for coordinating projects, supporting event planning and execution, drafting communications, and providing administrative support to the Communications & Events team. The ideal candidate is organized, detail-oriented, collaborative, and able to manage multiple priorities in a fast-paced environment.

Key Responsibilities



  • Build and coordinate event project plans and track milestones across workstreams.
  • Support the planning, coordination, and on-site execution of internal and external events, including employee engagement events and large conferences.
  • Draft post-meeting recaps and track action items in partnership with the project team.
  • Draft and edit event-related communications, including emails, intranet posts, announcements, and digital signage.
  • Provide project coordination and administrative support for the Communications & Events team.
  • Travel as needed for events, including up to 6 days on-site per meeting and up to 3 days on-site for sourcing site inspections.


Qualifications



  • 2-3 years of experience in communications, marketing, operations, or project management; event coordination experience is a plus.
  • Bachelor's degree in communications, marketing, hospitality, or a related field preferred.
  • Strong organizational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects simultaneously.
  • Excellent written and verbal communication skills with strong attention to spelling and grammar.
  • Detail-oriented, collaborative, and a proactive problem-solver.
  • Proficiency with Microsoft Office, particularly PowerPoint and Excel.
  • Experience with Canva and Adobe is a plus.
  • Familiarity with project management tools such as Asana and digital communication platforms is a bonus.

The base pay range listed reflects what we reasonably expect to offer for this role. Actual pay may vary based on location, experience, and performance.
