A Shipping and Transportation Supervisor manages the daily operations of moving raw materials in and finished products out. They bridge the gap between production and customer delivery, overseeing staff, carrier schedules, safety, and finished goods inventory accuracy to ensure timely, cost-effective, and accurate shipments. This role operates in a fast-paced, high-pressure environment within a manufacturing plant, requiring daily coordination of warehouse activities (packing, loading, storing) and stakeholders. This individual will manage second shift and act as the primary liaison to ensure external partners (3PL) meet company standards and contractual obligations. Key Responsibilities
