Job Title: Associate Recruiter
Location: Hybrid - Dallas, TX
Employment Type: Contract (6 months +/-)
Industry: Defense & Aerospace
Compensation: $32-$35/hr
Schedule: 1st shift - 9x80 (every other Friday off)
About the Opportunity:
Responsible for the full-life cycle recruiting to include posting positions, applicant flow, creative sourcing, pre -screening candidates, interviewing and selection and candidate management. Assist in the development of innovative recruiting strategies to attract top talent for the Company. Lead recruitment and selection processes that are legally compliant and cost effective while meeting established metrics. Maintain accurate records and reports on all phases of the recruitment process .
What You'll Do:
  • Partner with hiring managers to understand workforce needs, define job requirements, and provide guidance throughout the recruitment and selection process.
  • Manage full-cycle recruiting, including sourcing, screening, interviewing, reference and background checks, offer coordination, and onboarding support.
  • Develop and implement creative recruiting strategies to attract qualified candidates through multiple channels, including job fairs, campus recruiting, and community outreach.
  • Deliver an outstanding candidate experience by maintaining clear communication, coordinating interviews, and ensuring a smooth hiring process.
  • Maintain accurate recruitment data within the Applicant Tracking System (ATS), generate hiring reports, and monitor recruiting metrics such as time-to-fill and cost-per-hire.
  • Ensure recruiting practices comply with employment laws, company policies, and hiring best practices while supporting organizational diversity and talent acquisition goals.
  • Support HR initiatives by coordinating external recruiting partners, assisting with hiring projects, training managers on effective hiring practices, and promoting the organization's mission, values, and culture.

Job Requirements
What You'll Bring:
  • Bachelor's degree in human resources, business administration or related field
  • Minimum 1 year of experience as recruiter or recruiting coordinator
What Sets You Apart:
  • Proven knowledge of state, federal and EEO regulations regarding hiring practices is required
  • Exposure to behavioral interviewing techniques and some knowledge in sourcing candidates
  • Excellent verbal and written communication skills and highly developed interpersonal skills
  • Experience with Microsoft Office applications required (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
Additional Information:
  • Upon offer of employment, the individual will be subject to a background check and a drug screen
  • Must be able to work onsite in Dallas TX location
  • Must be able to travel locally as needed
  • Must be able to work outside regular business hours to support TA functions/activities
  • In compliance with federal law, all persons hired will be required to verify identity and eligibility to work in the United States and to complete the required employment eligibility verification form upon hire.
  • Successful candidate must be able to obtain and main security clearance.
