Crisdel Group, Inc. is seeking a Construction Accounting & Compliance Administrator to support our project management and accounting teams at our state-of-the-art facility in South Plainfield, NJ. You will play a key role in keeping our heavy civil and site work projects running smoothly by managing project documentation and compliance reporting.

Key Responsibilities
Include, but are not limited to, the following:
  • Certified Payroll & Compliance
    • Prepare and maintain certified payrolls for multiple prevailing-wage/public projects, including weekly or monthly reports as required by contract and agency.
    • Verify wage determinations, classifications, hours, fringes, and deductions, and ensure all certified payroll reports (e.g., WH-347 or state forms) are accurate and submitted on time.
    • Maintain and update other contract-related compliance documentation (COIs, apprenticeships, DBE/MBE reporting, EEO forms, and MEUR reports) and organize them by project for audit readiness
  • Commitments: PO's, Subs, CCO's
    • Route and track commitments (purchase orders, subcontracts, and commitment change orders) through the company's approval workflow including execution and initiating ERP to accounting system.
    • Ensure all required backup (scope, pricing, buyout sheets, schedules, RFIs, change justifications) is attached, status is updated in the project/accounting system, and fully executed documents are filed and distributed to the project and accounting teams.
  • Prime and Subcontract Billing Support
    • Compile and submit required monthly reporting packages for prime and subcontract billings (e.g., certified payroll logs, utilization reports, insurance certificates, lien waiver releases) in coordination with the accounting and project management teams.

Qualifications
  • Associate's degree in Accounting, Business, or related field required; bachelor's degree preferred; or an equivalent combination of education, training, and construction experience.
  • 1-5 years of experience in a similar role, ideally with a civil, heavy/highway, or site work construction company.
Familiarity with certified payroll and compliance reporting documents, or a strong willingness and aptitude to learn.

Proficiencies
  • Business productivity software such as Microsoft 365 (Word, Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, OneDrive, Teams)
  • Construction accounting software such as Sage 300 CRE (or similar).
  • Construction project management software such as Procore (or similar).
  • Client-based compliance software and reporting portals.

Salary & Benefits:
  • Competitive salary of $55,000 - $65,000 per year, based on experience.
