Guest Services Agent- JLL

What this job involves:

As a Guest Services Agent at JLL, you'll serve as the welcoming face of our client's facility, creating exceptional first impressions for employees and visitors alike. In this role, you'll manage lobby operations with efficiency and warmth, ensuring every guest receives friendly, knowledgeable, and courteous service from the moment they arrive. You'll handle everything from visitor management and temporary badge issuance to coordinating building services and responding to requests with minimal supervision. What your day-to-day will look like:

* Greet and host guests, visitors, and employees with a welcoming approach, verifying identity and managing visitor check-in and check-out processes

* Issue temporary badges and serve as the building information center, providing directions and general information to accommodate employee and guest needs

* Respond to and follow through on requests for information, communicating effectively with all levels of management with minimal supervision

* Organize and maintain lobby and front desk areas to ensure a professional, welcoming environment at all times

* Resolve problems associated with building services including janitorial, mailroom, copier services, parking, badging, and conference rooms by submitting work orders through appropriate channels

* Assist with coordination and scheduling of office and building maintenance activities, including luggage storage, lost and found, and umbrella management

* Anticipate and respond to client needs and concerns, identifying potential risks and escalating issues to ensure no incident or disruption to operations

Required qualifications:

* High school diploma or general education degree (GED)

* 2+ years of experience in hospitality, soft services, or operations roles

* Excellent verbal and written communication skills with the ability to communicate professionally with diverse audiences

* Strong customer service skills with a proven track record of teamwork and collaboration

* Demonstrated ability to manage multiple priorities and deliver results in a fast-paced environment

* Track record of initiative, integrity, and good judgment in professional settings

* Highly collaborative mindset with strong interpersonal skills and the ability to work across teams

Preferred qualifications:

* Knowledge of or experience in the commercial real estate industry

* Proficiency in Google applications and standard office technology platforms

* Experience with CMMS (Computerized Maintenance Management System) or work order management systems
