Associate Talent Acquisition Business Partner - University Relations & Recruiting Oklahoma City, OK (Hybrid) Pay: $23.00 - $25.00 per hour 26-06707 Job Summary The Associate Talent Acquisition Business Partner - University Relations & Recruiting is responsible for leading full-cycle recruiting efforts for internship and early career talent while developing strategic university partnerships that support long-term workforce planning. This role serves as a trusted advisor to hiring managers by developing recruiting strategies, building talent pipelines, coordinating campus recruiting initiatives, and delivering an exceptional candidate experience. The ideal candidate is passionate about university recruiting, relationship management, employer branding, and driving successful hiring outcomes through strategic talent acquisition practices. Job Responsibilities
- Manage the full recruitment lifecycle for internship and early career hiring, from requisition through offer acceptance.
- Develop and execute university recruiting strategies to build sustainable talent pipelines.
- Build and maintain strategic partnerships with universities, faculty, career services, and student organizations.
- Identify, source, screen, interview, and present qualified early career candidates aligned with hiring needs.
- Partner with hiring managers to define candidate profiles, recruiting strategies, and selection processes.
- Serve as a strategic advisor on university recruiting trends, talent market conditions, and workforce planning initiatives.
- Develop and maintain candidate engagement strategies throughout academic recruiting cycles.
- Plan, coordinate, and participate in campus recruiting events, career fairs, networking events, and employer branding activities.
- Promote organizational culture, career opportunities, and employment value propositions to prospective candidates.
- Ensure a positive candidate experience through timely communication, transparency, and professional engagement.
- Collaborate with recruiting teams and business stakeholders to support enterprise university recruiting initiatives.
- Maintain accurate candidate information and recruiting activity within applicant tracking systems (ATS).
- Analyze recruiting metrics and prepare reports to evaluate pipeline effectiveness and hiring outcomes.
- Ensure compliance with recruiting policies, employment regulations, and university partnership guidelines.
- Identify opportunities for process improvements that enhance recruiting efficiency and operational excellence.
- Perform additional talent acquisition responsibilities as assigned.
Job Requirements
- High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of 4 years of Talent Acquisition, University Relations, or Recruiting experience, or a bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, Psychology, or a related field.
- Experience managing full-cycle recruiting from sourcing through offer acceptance.
- Experience supporting university recruiting, campus recruiting, internship programs, or early career hiring.
- Strong relationship-building skills with hiring managers, university partners, faculty, and student organizations.
- Excellent verbal, written, presentation, and interpersonal communication skills.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Excel, PowerPoint, Outlook, and other Microsoft Office applications.
- Experience utilizing applicant tracking systems (ATS) and recruitment technologies.
- Strong organizational, analytical, and time management skills.
- Ability to manage multiple requisitions and competing priorities in a fast-paced environment.
- Ability to work independently while collaborating effectively across cross-functional teams.
- Willingness and ability to travel up to 25% as required.
- U.S. citizenship required.
Education
- High school diploma or equivalent with a minimum of four years of relevant Talent Acquisition or University Relations experience required.
OR
- Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, Communications, Psychology, or a related field preferred.
Work Experience
- Experience supporting university recruiting, campus recruiting, internship programs, or early career hiring required.
- Experience managing full-cycle recruiting in a corporate talent acquisition environment preferred.
- Experience partnering with hiring managers and business leaders to develop recruiting strategies preferred.
- Experience using Workday, Eightfold, or similar applicant tracking systems preferred.
- Experience developing recruiting metrics, reporting, and workforce analytics preferred.
- Experience coordinating campus recruiting events, university partnerships, and employer branding initiatives preferred.
