Responsibilities

Summary:

Coordinates all aspects of the blood drive calendar process including blood drive schedule development, operational analysis and maintenance of all relevant mobile blood drive information and donor center operations.

Job Details:

    Coordinates all aspects of the blood drive Calendar.
  • Utilizes decision making skills to analyze and approve blood drives to be added to the calendar. Will make decisions on how to best schedule blood drives to ensure staff and resources are maximized on a daily basis while meeting daily/weekly and monthly goals assigned to individual recruiters/teams and the organization. Identifies opportunities on blood drive calendar for additional blood drives to be added.
  • Evaluates staffing on blood drive calendar and provides recruiters specific dates to schedule blood drives to ensure collection needs are met consistently.
  • Coordinates the calendar build process and makes recomendations regarding blood drive feasibility. Reviews for drive history, templates, dates, efficiency, appropriate hours, and relevant KPIs. .
  • Develops weekly and monthly reports for blood operations leaders identifying calendar issues, problems and concerns and offers solutions to rectify the problems.
  • Functions as the Subject Matter Expert (SME) for the account management system, . Troubleshoots to resolve user problems. Involves IT contacts as required.
  • Maintains a role in preparing for team meetings, participating and presenting at recruitment meetings as required.
  • Liaison between collections and recruitment to ensure cost-effective calendar management and appropriate production planning.
  • Assists and trains the recruitment team and other departments in the use of donor recruitment software.
  • Assists and supports team members.

The hourly rate for this position is $26.00/hr. - $29.00/hr.

Qualifications

Education: High School Diploma or GED

Associate's degree preferred

Experience:

Three years of experience in data analysis, staff scheduling, production planning, or other related fields.

Skills:

Microsoft Office Suite

Time management skills

Detial oriented

Planning and analytical skills

Any combination of education, training and experience that has supplied the necessary knowledge, skills, and experience to perform the essential functions of the job.
