OVERVIEW:

The Salvation Army in Hanford operates a breakfast program which is open to anyone in need.

The Breakfast Aide will help prepare for the program each day, will help serve the meal, and will assist with clean up afterwards.

DUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:



  • Help prepare the dining hall for breakfast
  • Help prepare and serve the meal
  • Help with cleanup (clear tables, run dishes and trays through dishwasher, sweep, mop, etc.)
  • Reset at end of day to be ready for the next day.
  • Other related duties as required


EDUCATION AND EXPERIENCE:



  • Must be at least 15 years of age.


  • Experience working with the public
  • Complete and pass Food Handler Certification or bring copy of current ServSafe certification s(Required).


SKILLS AND ABILITIES:



  • Good interpersonal and communication skills.
  • Ability to work with the public.
  • High level of integrity and reliability.


EQUIPMENT USED:



  • Modern Office Equipment and Relevant Software
  • Speciality vehicles, tools, or anything that needs a cert/license to operate


PHYSICAL REQUIREMENTS:



  • Ability to lift up to 25lbs.
  • Ability to stand for an hour or more at a time.

Experience
