Job Description: Job Brief: Analytical Mechanics Associates, Inc. (AMA) is seeking a mechanical engineer for our Denver, CO location with 3-10 years of experience. The compensation for this position is expected to be between $80k - 160k. The applicant must be a U.S. citizen and local or willing to relocate to Denver, CO. Job Description: AMA is accepting applications for a motivated Mechanical engineer to perform cutting edge analyses within AMA's Advanced Capabilities & Programs group at the Denver, CO locations. The desired candidate will possess a graduate degree in Aerospace or Mechanical Engineering and will have professional experience related to mechanical design including structural/mechanical design and analysis and / or thermal design and analysis. Primary work responsibilities will be supporting mechanical design and engineering analysis of space components and systems in addition to supporting multidisciplinary engineering analyses in support of NASA's Space Nuclear Propulsion (SNP) project. Preference will be given to candidates with experience in structural finite element analysis (FEA) and a demonstrated track record of advancing hardware or system designs from Preliminary Design Review (PDR) through Critical Design Review (CDR). This position may be split into two roles depending on candidate qualifications, with one focused on mechanical design and the other focused on thermal analysis.
