Job Summary

Join our team as a Lead Industrial Electrician where your expertise in electrical systems and leadership skills will drive the maintenance and reliability of our industrial operations. This full-time position offers a pivotal role in ensuring the continuous and safe functioning of critical electrical equipment.

Primary Duties
  • Lead and supervise a team of maintenance technicians in the installation, troubleshooting, and repair of complex industrial electrical systems.
  • Design, test, and implement electrical control systems to enhance facility efficiency and safety.
  • Conduct regular inspections and preventive maintenance to identify and mitigate potential electrical failures.
  • Collaborate with cross-functional teams to plan and execute maintenance schedules minimizing downtime.
  • Ensure compliance with all electrical codes, safety regulations, and company standards.
  • Provide technical training and mentorship to electricians and maintenance staff to foster a skilled workforce.
  • Maintain detailed and accurate records of maintenance activities, repairs, and parts inventory.
  • Respond promptly to emergency electrical issues and coordinate resolution efforts to restore normal operations.
Qualifications
  • Extensive knowledge of industrial electrical systems, including motor controls, PLC programming, and high voltage equipment.
  • Proven leadership experience managing technical teams in a manufacturing or industrial setting.
  • Strong diagnostic and problem-solving skills with the ability to interpret electrical schematics and blueprints.
  • Familiarity with safety protocols and regulatory compliance related to electrical maintenance.
  • Excellent communication skills to effectively coordinate with team members and other departments.
  • Proficient in using diagnostic tools, testing equipment, and maintenance management software.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and professional development in electrical trades and technologies.
Education / Experience

Requires a minimum of a technical diploma or apprenticeship certification in electrical technology, complemented by several years of hands-on experience in industrial electrical maintenance. Prior experience in a lead or supervisory role is highly preferred.

The US base rate for this full-time position is 36.5. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will depend on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge and skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal pay equity. Compensation decisions are made based on the specific facts and circumstances of each role and candidate.
