Job Summary

We are seeking a skilled Industrial Electrician, internally designated as Maintenance Tech IV, to join our team on a full-time basis. This role is vital to ensuring the reliability and efficiency of our electrical systems across industrial operations. The ideal candidate will have a strong background in industrial electrical maintenance and a commitment to safety and quality workmanship.

Primary Duties
  • Perform installation, maintenance, and repair of industrial electrical wiring, equipment, and fixtures in compliance with electrical codes and safety regulations.
  • Diagnose electrical issues using testing devices, schematic diagrams, and technical manuals to identify faults and implement effective solutions.
  • Maintain and troubleshoot control systems, including PLCs, motor controls, and automation components to ensure continuous operational performance.
  • Collaborate with maintenance and engineering teams to develop preventive maintenance schedules, minimizing downtime and improving system longevity.
  • Document all work performed, including inspections, repairs, and modifications, ensuring accurate records for compliance and auditing purposes.
  • Adhere to all workplace safety standards and best practices, participating in safety training and promoting a culture of safety awareness throughout the facility.
  • Assist in the training and mentoring of junior technicians, fostering skills development and knowledge sharing within the maintenance department.
Qualifications
  • Proven experience as an industrial electrician or maintenance technician with a strong focus on electrical systems maintenance in an industrial environment.
  • Comprehensive knowledge of electrical code requirements, safety regulations, and industry standards.
  • Proficiency in reading and interpreting electrical schematics, blueprints, and technical documentation.
  • Experience with programmable logic controllers (PLCs), motor control circuits, and automated systems diagnostics.
  • Strong troubleshooting and problem-solving skills, with the ability to work independently and efficiently under pressure.
  • Excellent communication skills, capable of effective collaboration across multidisciplinary teams.
  • Commitment to continuous learning and staying updated on emerging electrical technologies and maintenance practices.
Education / Experience

Candidates should have a relevant technical diploma or certification in electrical technology or industrial maintenance. A minimum of 5 years of practical experience in an industrial setting is preferred. Continuous professional development and additional certifications, such as OSHA safety training or industrial automation courses, will be considered an advantage.

The US base rate for this full-time position is 31.5. The actual base pay offered to the successful candidate will depend on multiple factors, including but not limited to job-related knowledge and skills, experience, business needs, geographical location, and internal pay equity. Compensation decisions are made based on the specific facts and circumstances of each role and candidate.
