The Associate IAM Engineer will work on projects that require deep integration with SailPoint, including application onboarding, identity lifecycle management, and access certification projects. Performs other projects and duties as assigned.

Essential Functions, Duties, and Responsibilities:
* Handles daily incidents and ensures everything within SailPoint is working as expected.
* Fixes issues within the provisioning process.
* Acts as the first line of support for all access related technical incidents.
* Creates and updates IAM roles to support changes within business applications.
* Addresses new enhancements and updates process documents.
* Proactively monitors SailPoint and access provisioning queue to ensure it is working correctly and fixes potential issues.
* Monitors all existing integrations, batch jobs, tasks, and automations to ensure there are no errors.
* Responsible for provisioning/deprovision support and development, utilizing workflows to build new permanent automations and automate existing manual tasks associated with user onboarding and deprovisioning.

Required Knowledge, Skills and Competencies:
* Strong analytical skills with the ability to diagnose and resolve complex issues related to directory services.
* Strong communication and interpersonal skills, including the ability to explain complex security concepts to technical and non-technical audiences.
* Ability to design, develop (including scripting and configuration), and facilitate the continuous improvement of security solutions.
* Ability to collaborate effectively with multi-functional teams, including cybersecurity, IT operations, and business units, to achieve shared goals.
* Strong organizational skills and attention to detail.
* Takes a professional approach relating to others, treats others with consideration and respect regardless of employee level.
* Ability to adapt and manage frequent change, delays or unexpected events.

Industry and Work Experience:
* 2+ years of related work experience with SailPoint IdentityNow required.
* Experience administering IAM systems, access controls, security and risk management, as well as a security governance framework at scale required.

Academic:
* Bachelor's degree in technology, security or related field required.
